Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Celebration

Air India Modern School proudly celebrated Shivaji Jayanti on 19th February, honouring the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The celebration aimed to inspire students with the values of courage, leadership, and patriotism.

The program began with a tribute to the great leader, where students offered flowers and paid their respects to the portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Teachers briefly spoke about his life, achievements, and his role in establishing the Maratha Empire, highlighting his bravery, strategic intelligence, and commitment to justice.

Students enthusiastically participated in the celebration through speeches, poems, and short performances that depicted important moments from Shivaji Maharaj’s life. Some students also came dressed in traditional attire, adding colour and enthusiasm to the event.

The celebration was a meaningful learning experience for students, helping them understand the legacy of one of India’s greatest historical leaders. It encouraged them to follow the ideals of bravery, discipline, and respect for the nation.
