Marathi Bhasha Divas Celebration – Pre-Primary Section

The Pre-Primary Section of Air India Modern School celebrated Marathi Bhasha Divas with great enthusiasm to honour the richness and beauty of the Marathi language.

The celebration introduced young learners to the importance of Marathi through rhymes, poems, and simple conversations in Marathi. The tiny tots actively participated and confidently recited Marathi poems, bringing joy and excitement to the event.

Teachers explained the significance of the day and spoke about the legendary Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar (Kusumagraj), whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Marathi Bhasha Divas.

The classrooms were filled with cheerful energy as children participated in storytelling, songs, and cultural activities, helping them connect with the language in a fun and engaging way.

The celebration helped the young students appreciate the beauty of Marathi and encouraged them to take pride in their regional language and culture.
